Freddy Fazbear's Pizzaria
A larger and better establishment opened a year and a half after the closure of "Fredbear's Family Diner". This new location was built on top of the remains of the old diner, which was demolished in favor of the new building. The sign above the entrance read "Freddy Fazbear's Pizzaria" in favor of the new lead mascot, Freddy Fazbear.
The pizzaria was larger then before, had more games and decorations as well as a better selection of dishes as the owners had previously promised. Their main meal still had pizza, but it was larger and included a selected drink and dip on the side. An upgrade from only a medium pizza, for the same price! There was also more treats and snacks to choose, such as different chip flavors and candies. The "fizzy faz-drop" candy was a favorite amongst repeat customers (especially children).
The location also featured brand-new state-of-the-art animatronics. Freddy, Bonnie and Chica are now the main crew of the franchise. Performing just like they did before, but this time they could roam around! The puppet, refurbished from the diner, now sits at the prize-corner. The prize corner was a gift-shop like area where kids could spend the tickets they earned from playing on the arcade machines.
Near the prize-corner was Kid's Cove, where a brand new animatronic took stage. Her name was Mangle, though it was a nickname coined by the head of maintinence. Mangle would constantly be taken apart by the children in Kid's Cove, but the maintinence crew became sick of fixing her every night only for her to be torn the next day, so she was left in pieces.
The old animatronics from the original establishment were kept in storage and used for parts. Many of which were used to repair the new toy animatronics (named due to their plastic, toy-like look). The part's and service room housed the older models, and was locked during the day.
The pizzaria also had more party rooms, with 4 in total! The owners would rent out these party rooms to guests to use for birthdays and celebrations of all kinds. Not christmas, though, as the building is closed during major holidays. When the party rooms are not being rented out they can be used by any customer as they please. As long as they cleaned up their mess.
Unfortunately a child tragically lost their life to one of the animatronics in 1987, roughly a year after opening. This lead to the location having to close their doors and another investigation opened. The details of the tragedy and investigation are mostly unknown except for a few details published in the newspaper. The investigation concluded that one of the maintinence employees was messing with the animatronics facial recognition software, making them act erratically towards people they found to be "criminals" or something of the sort. This led to one of them ending a childs life.
The owners were left with no choice but to demolish the building as per court orders. Although they kept the older models to use them later on, it was still a huge loss for the franchise.
